LYNN HEARTY COUTTS

Lynn currently serves as the Deputy Athletic Director for Student-Athlete excellence at the University of Denver NCAA Division 1 Athletics and Recreation. Coutts joined the Denver staff in 2019 following eight years working at the University of Maine. From 2015-2019, Lynn was senior associate Athletic Director, and prior to that, she was the softball coach for the UMaine Black Bears. Coutts won two NCAA ECAC Championships as a student-athlete, was named a Northeast All-American, and inducted into the UMaine Hall of Fame in 1993.

- 1993 – Inducted into the UMaine Sports Hall of Fame

- 2013-2015 – Head Softball Coach University of Maine NCAA Division 1
- 2015-2019 – UMaine Associate Athletic Director, Senior Women’s Administrator
- 2020-Present – Deputy Director of Athletics at the University of Denver NCAA Division 1

Lynn has a husband, Mike, a daughter Maggie and a son Jackson.
