Terry Burns has led a diverse life, from navigating high school to corporate and pastoral roles, and now as principal at Pontiac High School. His journey, marked by resilience and determination, has seen him embrace challenges and inspire others along the way.

High school was a whirlwind for Terry, balancing sports, music, and part-time work while maintaining decent grades. His professional path took him through supermarkets to church leadership, where he spent almost two decades ministering to his congregation.

Returning home, Terry found his calling in education, eventually becoming principal at Pontiac High School. His goals are ambitious – boosting graduation rates, promoting academic excellence, and fostering inclusivity.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys jogging, hunting, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. As he continues his journey, he remains committed to making a difference, one student at a time.
