TODD HEARTY

Graduated P. P. H. S 1980
At the age of twelve, Todd moved to Shawville where he learned to skate and discovered his passion for the game of hockey. Hearty played local minor hockey until his Junior years when he played for the Arnprior Packers Jr. “B” team. He also had stints playing with the Ottawa Jr. Senators and Pembroke Royals Jr. “A” organizations. His passion for the game led him to a career in the National Hockey League as an amateur scout. Seeking out the best talent around the world for the last twenty-two years, Hearty has contributed to building three successful NHL teams: the Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers. In 2007, Hearty was part of the Stanley Cup winning team, the Anaheim Ducks, and is presently in his twelfth year as a Philadelphia Flyer.
