    COURSE OPTIONS
    Students entering Grade 7 are able to register for the “Introduction to Welding” Program which replaces Visual Art.

    * The French Immersion program at PHS is available for those students who are following either an Immersion program OR a French Maternal Language program in their Grade 6 year. If space is available, testing can be arranged for other students upon parent request to Ms. Brownlee in Guidance.
    **If a student is recommended by their teachers to benefit from Resource Support, this support will be provided during 6 blockings instead of the course Geography

    Grade 8

    English (ENG206) – 6 blocks|
    Core French (FRB206) – 6 blocks or Enriched French (FRI206)
    Math (MAT226) – 6 blocks
    Science and Technology (SCI204) – 4 blocks
     **History and Citizenship (HIS213) – 6 blocks
